Of course I am, precisely because of need for respect for process.
Your talk about “process” is pretty entertaining. Because you seem not to have any concern about that at all when it comes to the process of challenging election results. Great that you are so proud of yourself that you predicted - on this very board no less!! - that Trumpies would cry and try to undermine the election if Trump lost. But understand that as impressed with you as I’m sure we all are, Trump told us that himself, constantly.
There was a six week period between Election Day and electoral college certification by the states. Lord knows, Trump and his fans made full use of them. Nothing in that process, from court filings to recounts to anything else, produced any credible evidence of anything to change the election results.
Just like Gore had to relent in 2000, which every other president who has ever disputed an election has done (because until Trumpism, we could count on our shared respect for our democracy). That is the essence of how an institutional democracy works. You have an appeal process. Ours is incredibly long by modern standards.
You’re entitled to your opinion. Your opinion was not borne out in the many appeals and challenges over more than a month between Election Day and certification of results.
